The Vision: The Misjudged Clan (TMC) was founded by Nana Ekow Kru Baiden on a single realization: People tend to doubt themselves and what people say and think about them affects the way they act or pursue their dreams. We want to send a message to the world that there is always more to something or someone than what you see or hear , so you should do what makes you comfortable and not to seek for validation.

The Aesthetic: Our roots are in the gritty, industrial landscapes of the city. We find beauty in the raw the unpolished concrete, the shadows of the parking lot, and the authenticity of the “Misjudged.” We don’t do “perfect”; we do real.

The Mission: Based in Accra, we create streetwear that serves as a uniform for those who see beyond the surface. From our narrative short films to our curated collections, TMC is a tribute to the complex lives we all lead. You aren’t just wearing a brand; you’re acknowledging the clan.
